The story

So I will start by saying that this is a very different short story than the ones I have written before.

This is one of my favorite short stories to date. It’s about a man named Oliver who has been struggling with insomnia.

As he tries to sleep, he hears a voice tell him he has to stop sleeping. He begins to listen to the voice repeatedly, but it never seems to let up.

It becomes clear that the voice tells him he must stop sleeping because he’s killing himself.

The hook

Writing a short story is tough, but it’s also one of the most rewarding things you can do online. There are thousands of different ways to approach the process. Some people start with a specific idea, while others write until they find a story.

However, you can do some basic things to ensure you’re on the right track.

In this post, I will go over five rules every short story must adhere to. If you can follow these guidelines, writing something compelling and original is much easier.

1. Write from your heart

It’s easy to forget that you’re writing for yourself. Any creative project aims to bring something meaningful to the world.

However, if you don’t care about what you’re putting into the world, you’re unlikely to put in the effort required to craft something worth reading.

2. Keep it simple

The best stories are the simplest ones. You don’t need to use complicated words or elaborate metaphors.

Plot

Short stories are a great way to make money online. YYou can use this to build a portfolio and gain experience if you’re a writer if you’re a writer. But if you’re not a writer, you can still get involved.

The more you write, the more opportunities you’ll get.

My general rule of thumb is to write a short story and then expand it into a novel.

You can also write a short story to get some ideas and expand it later.

That’s my preference, ut it is based on my own experience, and I can see both sides of the argument.

I don’t think there is one right answer, and you’ll need to figure that out yourself.
